There were some twists and turns that worked really well and such. This is, without doubt, one of the most pathetic novels I have ever read. I have now finished Welcome to the NHK, only about quite some bit late; but hey sometimes a view after things are said and done. And sure enough, FUNimation had released an all time favorite of mine, Welcome to the NHK, in a complete series box set a few weeks ago. In the novel though, it is revealed that Satou uses drugs and his furniture coming to life was an effect of it, though this fact is downplayed in the series. Anyway onward to the rest of the stuff. Overall though I enjoyed the series quite a bit. This does not happen a lot during the show, but it did find that balance and whenever a show can find that +5 in my book. Just thought of a Tokyopop series that's in desperate need of relicensing(it's been gaining popularity lately) Welcome to the NHK… both the novel and the manga series.
